Boris
Domestic shorthair, born 28 April 1998

Boris is from Heikkilä's crab-farm, which is in Lokalahti, Finland. Boris's siblings were already left for their new homes, but nobody wanted "little" Boris (who was already named Boris), so he moved to our cattery at the age of three months. When we went to get Boris, we were prepared to catch a half-feral cat from somewhere under the barn, but to our surprise Boris was the kindest housecat we had ever seen..

Boris's colour is probably brown mackerel tabby and white. His speciality is the tail, which is only 15 cm long and has full "circle" in the end, like a hook. So Boris is often called the Coathanger-cat. Boris is quite a big cat, over 6 kg. He has a very pleasant temperament, he is quiet and peaceful. Or maybe he just seems like that, because we compare him with our rexes...

Boris has been shown couple of times in cat shows as a housecat. He hasn't had any special succcess, usually the judges just laugh at his funny tail.

Doris
Tailles domestic shorthair, born 30 April 2000

Doris is from the same Heikkilä’s crab farm as Boris and Brutus. Actually Doris is Brutus's half sister, they have the same mother. Father is unknown. Doris's tailless litter brother Töpsykkä (Pekka Töpöhäntä) lives in the nearest town, Turku.

Doris has no tail at all, but in it's place there is small tuft of hair. She is almost totally white, there are some patches of blue mackerel tabby here and there. Doris has bright red nose and it shines like Rudoph the Red Nose Reindeer's when she gets exited. Doris is really sweet tempered and nice cat, you just have to spoil her a little bit. She purrs really loudly and you always have to scratch her under her chin. Doris's favorite place is on human's lap, preferably as close to the face as possible. Doris also has some bad habits: she likes to pull eyelashes and eyebrows – quite unpleasant in the middle of night…
